Current Stock - This list was accurate on May16th, 2012 – forgot to update the list for two orders in a row, sorry about that.
Quinte Reef Systems is pretty much a one man show so this list gets updated as often as I am capable of. We are extremely busy these days though so if you are going to drive in for something on the list lpease call a head to confirm. If you are a repeat customer coming from Kingston/Napanee/Port Hope/etc I'll hold it in stock based on your call.

Rock
- Dried Rock – starts at $1.65 per lb
- Pimo dried rock starts at $3.00 per lb and goes down based on quanity. ( http://quintereef.ca/lace-rock/ )
- live Rock - $6 per lb - 100% fully cured – this rock is a combination aged rock from clients aquariums and premium Florida open pit mined coral rock that has been fully seeded. We start it off in the lower tank where we grow photoplankton and various types of copepods and it sits down there for a minimum of one week but usually much longer. As we sell rock out of the top tank the rock is moved up from the bottom tank up to replace it. The top tank is always dark green with photoplankton and it is also very alive with a variety of pods. We enrich these tanks with a variety of amino acids, carbohydrates and HUFA's to feed the photoplankton as well as to encourage Coraline algae growth. The result is clean fully cured 100% pest free live rock. without importing any ecologically damaging rock from the oceans.
